How It Works

To keep the surge tank functioning optimally, a lift pump is essential. This lift pump is cleverly housed in the rear section of the OEM sub tank, ensuring a steady flow of fuel. The kit includes a lift pump mount that securely snaps onto three sides of the sub tank, acting as a baffle to keep the pump supplied with fuel at all times. We've made sure that the lift pump always has what it needs to deliver fuel to the surge tank.

The lift pump sends low-pressure, high-volume fuel into the surge tank through a specially designed deflector at the bottom of the canister. With a 24-hole diverter, it evenly disperses the fuel, preventing pesky air bubbles and foaming. When fuel demand is low, the canister simply overflows back into the OEM sub tank, keeping everything in balance. Plus, pre-pump filters are included to ensure proper inlet filtration.

Thanks to the built-in check valves, all compatible fuel pumps can merge their high-pressure outputs into a single 10AN billet collector. The low-pressure fuel returning from the regulator goes back into the surge tank, maintaining its fullness. Another 24-hole deflector at this point helps to further eliminate air bubbles and foaming, all while staying tucked away inside your OEM gas tank.
